Dr. Francis Agyei is a psychologist and a research scientist, whose professional training intersects social, health and community psychologies. His research interests focus on mental health transformation in community contexts. His doctoral project focused on community mental health competence in resource-poor communities. He has worked on several interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary projects that cut across mental health, health system strengthening and implementation science. Currently, Dr. Agyei is a lecturer and researcher in psychology and mental health at the Fred N. Binka School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences.
